It is really frustrating I want to Select all the photos from an event and make them into an album and command A is not working even if you use it from the edit tool bar. Such a simple command and very infuriating.

Please try the following:
- Create a new album
- Navigate to the event in the Track View (by date) or by Event Name
- Select the icon with 9 squares at the far end of the event track, which will show the event in the "grid view"
- When open, you can use Command-A or the menu to select all of them. If very large, you will need to wait for the selection to show (perhaps that's the problem you hit?)
- You should see yellow highlights around all photos
- Go to "Photo" in the menu bar. You should see Add Photos to album with a drop down list of albums to select.
- Select your new album, and you should be all set.

Let us know if you are still running into problems with this.
Note -- if you are not seeing a response, select "Photos". It will show if there is an active selection in progress, in which case, you'll need to wait.
