MacBook and iPad stolen. Rebuilding. iPad restore shows Revel working well. MacBook restore shows Revel completely blank and no menu options, not even "About," do anything at all. iCloud syncing working for everything else. I'm lost. Adobe LiveChat refuses assistance.

Did you happen to reinstall Adobe Revel? You can try to remove the Revel app by doing the following then install the Revel 1.10 from Adoberevel.com

Delete the Adobe Revel application cache. This is inside a hidden folder.

1. Use the Finder menu Go > Go to Folder (Shift+Cmd+G), and enter: ~/Library/Containers/
2. Select the folder com.adobe.Carousel.mac and drag it to the trash.

If you do not need to preserve the Adobe Revel Library in your Pictures folder or you are certain that you have the original photos stored safely elsewhere.

1.Drag the Adobe Revel Library.rvl to the trash, which is located on your boot drive at /Users//Pictures/Adobe Revel/Adobe Revel Library.rvl

Let me know if that helps or if the issue still happens.
Thanks
Scott

Unfortunately the iPad contains photos I need to rescue. Pls advise. Should I save the .rvl file to a different location?

Jake,
Yes you can move that to a different location. Select the Adobe revel library.rvl and hold down "control" and click to see the menu. Then select "show packages contents". You can copy the images out from these folders. The images are in the "originals" folders as you will see they are sorted by date.
At least you can copy these images to a back up folder to keep them safe. Then re upload them as needed.
Here is the FAQ for "How to uninstall Revel" for future reference http://forums.adobe.com/message/51498...
Let me know if you are still having the problem with not being able to see the screen
