Can't find Adobe Revel on my Mac (Lion) but know it must still be there because my IPAD still will pull up my carousel. I really want to find it and delete it because it has maxed out my computer in memory due to my huge # of pics. HELP!!!! Am looking in finder for Adobe Revel and nothing. Please help. Thanks

Hi Beth

Deleting the Adobe Revel app itself will not remove the original images that have been downloaded to Adobe Revel Library in your Pictures folder. This is what's taking space on your Mac hard drive.

Revel keeps copies of your original images in the cloud, in addition to also storing them on your Mac by default. Revel will always keep copies of your original images in the cloud as long as you are a subscribed member. If you would like to keep Adobe Revel running on your Mac, but save disk space by not storing original images there, it is possible. To do this, disable Keep Originals in Revel's Settings (click the gear button inside the app). Then quit the app. Then delete Adobe Revel Library in your Pictures folder. Then launch the app again. This will keep all the images you upload in Revel's cloud, but not on your Mac. Only large thumbnails and original images you choose to edit will be downloaded, and those will be stored in a temporary cache.

If you have additional questions, please let us know.

By the way, if you are having trouble finding the Adobe Revel app, it should be in your Applications folder. You can find it by typing Revel in the Mac Finder's search box. If it's truly missing, you may want to download it again from the Mac App Store.
