Not as far as I'm concerned. Adobe shares in the blame for the technical problem, and takes tremendous blame for the customer service problem until and unless it apologizes in word and deed.

The truth is that Apple was delaying the hole process. And Adobe never tell us "the political behind the scenes" maybe for legal reasons and get all the blame. But you are right about Adobe customer service.

Thanks for keeping at it. I am sure Apple was not so attentive in the midst of their own system upgrade. I'll give it a try shortly but I know it will work.

Pattie F - thank you for all your hard work. I am sorry that you had to listen to some horrible (unnecessary) comments from unhappy customers - especially since you are a moderator and not in control of the situation. I wish people would be more patent, understanding, and kind, even when they are upset.

My Revel app is updated and running fine. Thank you!

Speaking for myself, I said nothing out of line and was never impolite. I think more than a week shows extreme patience, and I'm still waiting for an apology from Adobe.

I complete supports and agree with R. Schulman, as do many others I am sure. At the minimum, give me a one week extension on my yearly subscription and sign of appreciation for being a loyal customer. Not a lot to ask for, and never was I disrespectful, nor were the vast majority of users of this forum. Paula's definition of 'horrible' must be in her eyes the same as calling a hangnail a complete sever of a limb!

Dear Revel users:

As you may know, many users had issues installing Revel iOS update version 2.3.2. We are pleased to inform you that the issue has been resolved. We know how frustrating it must have been to not be able to access your photos and videos, and are truly sorry for all the inconvenience.

Please go to the App Store and update your app, and thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue. Please ensure that your operating system is on iOS version 7.1 or above when updating the app. We do rigorous testing prior to all releases, but unfortunately an unexpected interoperability issue occurred with the way our App was getting bundled up for delivery to customers.

If you are unable to upgrade to iOS version 7.1 or above at this time and can not load revel from the app store on your device, please download the latest version of the Adobe Revel app from iTunes to your computer and sync it to your iPhone, or iPad. If you are unfamiliar with this process, please plug your iOS device in to your computer with the USB cord that came with your device. Launch iTunes on your computer and select help > iPhone or ipad user guide. There are help topics there that will explain how to connect and sync your device.

If you have any more questions or are still experiencing problems, please go to our user forums and post to this link : https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1513106. Again, please accept our sincerest apologies and thank you for your patience.

Thank you. Although I am a paying customer of other Adobe products, I do not subscribe for additional storage on Revel. Nonetheless, I want to state that I feel the company should provide real compensation to those who do subscribe. They've paid for a service they did not receive for a week or more. You're a mature corporation with billions in revenue. You can well afford to extend their subscriptions, or refund a pro rated portion, especially since you did such a poor job in managing customer reaction. In fact, it's my opinion that you can ill afford NOT to do so. There are plenty of large companies that have learned the hard way that what may seem like a small thing to them is a big thing to their most valuable asset: their customers. They've paid the price in future business.

Patty, my ipad will not update from the app store as it should. I understand you have pointed out other (and far more complicated) ways of TRYING to make it work. However, my question is this: if this issue has been "resolved" why won't revel update on my ipad from the app store as it should?

Thanks you in advance for your reply.

Andrea,

If you are using iOS 7.0, and do not want to upgrade to the current version, then you will need to download the latest version of the Adobe Revel app from iTunes to your computer and sync it to your iPhone, or iPad.

If you are using the current iOS version, then this will not be an issues and the version can be updated on your device.

Pattie
