Adobe RAW Converter 7.1 creates invalid metadata for the FocalPlaneResolutionUnit EXIF tag

Adobe RAW Converter 7.1 creates invalid metadata for the FocalPlaneResolutionUnit EXIF tag.

When saving a Nikon D800 NEF file with Adobe RAW Converter 7.1 it adds metadata to a new tag FocalPlaneResolutionUnit with a value of 4. 4 is an invalid value for this tag in EXIF (see spec at http://www.awaresystems.be/imaging/ti...). Instead I believe Adobe is using the spec for TIFF/EP ( http://standardsproposals.bsigroup.co... ) where values of 4 and 5 are valid for this tag, but with a different hex value for the tag. TIFF/EP should use hex value 0x9210 (37392) not 0xA210 (41488) as it is currently.

I have witnessed this in saving as TIFF and DNG directly from the RAW Converter.

macdanosx:~ dof$

macdanosx:~ dof$ exiftool ~/Desktop/_DSC5173.NEF | grep Resolution
X Resolution : 300
Y Resolution : 300
Resolution Unit : inches

macdanosx:~ dof$ exiftool ~/Desktop/_DSC5173_tif_cameraraw71.tif | grep Resolution
X Resolution : 240
Y Resolution : 240
Resolution Unit : inches
Focal Plane X Resolution : 204.84021
Focal Plane Y Resolution : 204.84021
Focal Plane Resolution Unit : mm

And a snippet of the full debug (-v3) output from exiftool including the hex tag name values and numerical data value

| | 20) FocalPlaneResolutionUnit = 4
| | - Tag 0xa210 (2 bytes, int16u[1]):
| | 417b2: 04 00
