It's very frustrating to report bugs that never get acknowledged nor fixed - and there are a *lot* in this category.

You may be training people not to report bugs. I assume (and hope) that is not what you want.

Is this website a vehicle for us to communicate with you, or just a way for us to keep placated? - When there are scant few responses from Adobe, it seems more like the latter.

We do read everything here, but unfortunately we don't always report back. We'll try to do a better job going forward in keeping you in the loop. Thanks for your participation -- it does help!

Here's an opportunity to do better: My bug report regarding a faulty keyboard mapping has been acknowledged by a champ (Gene McCullagh) a year ago. Since then, I've never heard from anyone again and the bug is still carried over from version to version.

BTW, I'm puzzled that code that isn't platform specific is not shared between platforms. Why use Lua if you don't share the non platform specific code?

It seems to me, that there should be a periodic going through of all "unacknowledged" reports on this site, with some kind of decision/classification made about each one, and the status of that decision/classification reflected on the site.
