Unfortunately my laptop corrupted and I needed to restore it from my backup which I did successfully. However I am not able to install above 2 software's back. can you please help me with installing them back again. I registered my products with Adobe and I have Serial number for Adobe Photoshop elements 9.

What issue are you having with installing? Do you have the original install disks/installers?

Hi,

I was unable to find original CD and I was able to restore some of the premier elements file. However I was not able to find setup.exe and when I am trying to install it by right clicking on Adobe Photoshop elements 9 icon, seems like it is installing trial version.

Thanks,
-Ashok

There is no difference between a trial version installer and the installer that comes with purchased software. When you purchase the software, you have a printed serial number that you can enter into the installer. A trial version does not come with a serial number, so you leave the serial number blank in the installer.

If you are not seeing a prompt for a serial number during the installation process, the proceed with the install. When you launch the Photoshop Elements Editor for the first time you will be asked for your serial number then.

Thanks for the response. Just one more question, do I need to uninstall the software on my old machine to get it installed on new machine? I did not uninstall it on my old laptop since it was crashed out.

Hi Ashok,

You can proceed with the installation. If it's already installed it will firstly ask to uninstall the build.

Thanks.
