Hi John,

Try these steps:

http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

Did you by chance modify any items from the original install? (Remove or modify files installed by the original install, such as plug-ins, language files, EULAs, read-mes)

No I do have a couple of plug-in installed and update 13.0.1.2 installed without a problem.

Now in addition I have a Photoshop CC Trial installed 24 days left.. I do not have any Subscriptions. I'm Still a CS6 Perpetual user. Adobe Application Manager wanted to install the update when I used CS6 menu Help>Updates, The Update Failed.

After I installed CS6 on top of itself all the Updates installed without problems. My Plug-ins, Extension and Script tree addition were all still intact and working.

Ashutosh Nigam sent me an e-mail that there was a corrupted Photoshop CS6 file "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\OBLRes\en_mx\Main.zdct" on my system I don't use disk cleaners know of not application one my system the would mess with a .zdct.

Close this out Solved wit Adobe's help Thank You

However the bug fix for the scripting bug I reported was still not included in the update?????

Hi John,

I'll take a look at this tomorrow and see what is its status. I logged a bug for it now in case this hasn't already been logged.

steve

It been a year now and the bug is still not fixed. There will be no CS7 only CC Adobe will stop selling CS6 at some point. Please fix the CS6 bugs before then.

SG hasn't tomorrow come and gone or is still that tomorrow never comes.

Hi John,

This was fixed in the subscription version of Photoshop CS6 (13.1). With the recent announcements, I'll put this one back on the hopper for revisiting as a 13.0.x fix.
