Adobe Media Downloader stopped responding durring download, now won't open properly.

My media downloader stopped responding about 1/3 of the way through the download. Each subsiquent time I have tried opening the program it opens in a very small box- photoshop logo, adobe med is all that will fit in the box. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, restarted my computer, all to the same result. This was working properly when I started the download yesterday afternoon, all through the night, and early into this morning.

Hello Karen,
Are you still having this problem? If you are then, can you try clearing out the AIR app cache for Adobe Media Downloader.

On Windows, delete the following AIR app cache folder for the Downloader:

On Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, the location is:
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\com.adobe.px.Downloader.4C35C4D325D350FE0114230CBADCA2DDD0AC8D25.1\

On Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\com.adobe.px.Downloader.4C35C4D325D350FE0114230CBADCA2DDD0AC8D25.1\

On Mac OS X:
/Users//Library/Preferences/com.adobe.px.Downloader.4C35C4D325D350FE0114230CBADCA2DDD0AC8D25.1/

...This Mac user path is usually hidden. Access by using the Finder menu: Go > Go to folder (Shift-Cmd-G): ~/Library

3) Re-install the latest Adobe AIR runtime form http://get.adobe.com/air/

4) Launch the Downloader install from http://www.photoshop.com/tools/downlo... and try the download process again.
