Adobe products should be more advanced and futuristic than ms office or coreldraw products. its lack 1 basic and common feature which today's common DTP softwares have. that is

i cant have a preview to my text/paragraph with different fontstyles just by mouse pointing/highlighting/selection from up and down arrow from keyboard to a particular font in fontlist like in ms office and coreldraw. this feature/option is lacking in adobe products such as photoshop extended.

You've been able to do that in Photoshop for years.
Select the text, click in the font menu, move up and down and watch your text change.
