The problem? Well, I purchased a product (Photoshop Elements) from Adobe / Adobe emailed me a receipt - this was 2011 / I set up my "Adobe ID" (my email address) / just recently I upgraded my Windows 7 Pro to Windows 8 Pro / the install process wiped out all my programs, so I had to re-install them / My Photoshop Elements isn't installed yet because I need the "unlock key" / No problem, just sign into your Adobe account and go to your purchase history, right? / Big problem - Adobe "doesn't recognize" my Adobe ID / Okay - send me my information so I can reset my password / Nope, Adobe doesn't recognize my email address (a.k.a. my Adobe ID)... What to do - okay, I'll just contact "customer support" / Nope, didn't work - trying to get through to "customer support" is like trying to find that proverbial "needle in the haystack"... So, Adobe took my money, I downloaded the program / a little more than a year goes by and now I'm stuck without being able to re-install the program I purchased and trying to "contact" Adobe's so called "customer support" is like trying to walk through a brick wall... It tells me one thing: if you don't spend humungous amounts of money to purchase Adobe products forget getting any kind of support... Once again - the "little guy" gets shafted... Oh the pain of it all...!
