How awesome would it be to have a palette across CC where favorite fonts can be saved. Along with that have filters such as: serif, san serif, bold, condensed, script, ect. This could be a huge time saver and I think designers everywhere would love it. Any one else agree?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled PHOTOSHOP - list of frequently used or favorite fonts.

I (and as I understand it, many other PS users) would like and can really use a feature to keep all of our frequently used/favorite fonts. Can we make that happen somehow, a plugin or feature in program?

This is what's known as a font manager and is a function of your OS.

Well aware of Font Book, I'm talking about something more advanced and personal, helps to save time when browsing through font choices. Sense this post typeKit has developed some features that are along the lines of this but it isn't built into CC it is a plug-in & I believe it has membership fees. Developers use these forums for ideas on how to improve our tools, not rely on basic function applications.

You can now specify favorite fonts, and show similar fonts in Photoshop CC 2015.1 update that went out today: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/usi...
