Adobe Photoshop Elements - Merge Catalogs

One of my previous Adobe Photoshop Elements computers was running very slowly so I started breaking up my catalogs into different years.

Now I have a new computer and 2020 is running great on it.

I would like to merge all of my catalogs so that I can more easily find pictures.

I cannot figure out how to do it.

Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Maybe first have a look at that explanation by John R Ellis:

In your case, that would mean restoring each yearly backup into its own year subfolder. Contrary to Lightroom, the organizer has no way to 'merge' catalogs, so, you'll have to take care of how to recover your lists of keywords as well as to write metadata to files.
The specificity of your yearly management is that old catalogs don't change much, apart from possible new scans. If disk space is not a concern, I would consider keeping the restored yearly catalogs even after you have manually merged them into a new common catalog. That would easily keep your albums and version sets for instance.
