I need help with the fact that I paid over $150.00 for a program that Adobe now says is too old for them to fix. I have to tell my problem here to POSSIBLY get any help at all. Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 suddenly stopped allowing me to resize photos. It just flat out QUIT. I bought the program 3 years ago now they tell me that they don't support older versions. Other companies give you support on their older versions of their products but not Adobe. 3 years does not an old program make. However, Adobe thinks it does so when something goes wrong they basically tell you to post it here and HOPE for some help. Has anyone else had a problem anything like this one???

Elements 9 was issued in September 2010. Already 5 years and 5 new versions since.If you still have your computer, your OS (Win or Mac) from that time, you are going to get problems very soon.

Independently from the choice of Adobe to directly support only the latest versions, you can use the suggested user to user Elements or Premiere Elements forums;
.
https://forums.adobe.com/community/ph...

Did you submit your problem there?
If your Elements does not 'allow you to resize photos', most probably the problem is not specific to a given Elements version.

Yes, I am partial in favour of the user to user forum for good reasons.
You can get support for all the 15 versions (including Album) of Elements by advanced users as well as staff members. Do you really believe any member of the support team can have as much knowledge as this community?
That's the best advice I can offer to help you.
