Photoshop CC 2015: Touch Screen zoom and canvas move not working on Surface Pro 3

I use Photoshop on a Surface Pro 3.Since the last update, I can no longer zoom using the touch screen (pinching or pulling my fingers apart). I'm not sure if a feature turned off in the update or it's a problem with a setting with my Surface (though all other apps still let me zoom using the touch screen). That was a pretty important feature for me, so having that feature stop working as soon as I paid for a subscription and got the most recent update is not okay.Any advice or hearing from someone else who has had this problem would be appreciated.

Hi Matthew.  I am the developer doing touch support on the canvas.  I have not heard of your problem and touch support should be present on the Surface Pro 3 with both CC 2015 and CC2015.1.  Make sure you have GPU acceleration enabled in preferences.  Let me know if you still have problems.

I am having this same problem on the surface pro. I could not find anything that said "GPU acceleration" under any of the menus in preferences. Could you be more specific as to where it's located? Thank you!

The Surface Pro 3 is a supported device.  Can you give me more detail?

Dear Mr Tristram, What am I doing wrong when I can't use the brush tool, or pencil tool, on the canvas with the touchscreen, when all other functions work with it, like dragging a scroll bar and so forth? I'm using an i7 HP Spectre x360 4109-na and Photoshop CC 2015.

I don't know what it might be then.  It is probably best to get in touch with Adobe Customer Support.  They may have some information about your configuration.  Sorry I can't debug it from here.

OK, thank you for your very fast response! I'm getting the Dell pen soon, so I think that might help. :)

Finger painting is not supported. Currently, painting is only enabled through a stylus.
