Lightroom mobile: Online Album ~ Possible Hacked Account

The weirdest thing happened today...

I never knew until today that with the new Adobe and Light room that your Light room catalogs get uploaded to your Adobe online account

Never knew until today I had a Adobe online account

Somehow/Someone went through all the files from my suicide shoot, looked over all 2500+ photos, and created a folder called "liked"

At first I thought some random pervert hacked my account

Thing is, every image in this liked folder is a winner, these are images I don't recall even seeing.

This person didn't even pick images of all my models and apparently had little interest in the lingerie and no interest in the nude images.

In his/her "liked" folder there are almost all fashion/editorial photos. There are a few lingerie, but they are very modest shots. Only images of 4 of my 11 models where chosen.

Whoever did this IMO had a trained eye for photography

I'm really weirded out by this

Yes I changed my password

Anyone care to chime in on this?

Hi Elizabeth. So when you look in your Lightroom catalog, in the Collections panel, is there a little squiggly arrow to the left of the collection name?  If so, that means you chose to Sync that collection to the cloud.

Then if you select that collection and look at the top of the Grid view, does it say "Make Public" or "Make Private"?  If so, you selected it for public sharing, although no one should have been able to find it unless you gave them the link to the left of the button.

Greetings Elizabeth,

I read through your post and have a few questions:

Are you sharing your Adobe ID with anyone else or are you sharing your primary computer with anyone else?

Did you recently use a public computer to access your Adobe accounts online and possibly not log out when you were finished?

Do you use Lightroom for Mobile apps on any mobile devices (phone or tablet)? If so, have you recently lost control of one of these devices for any period of time?

It requires a device/computer logged in with your valid Adobe ID to perform the type of operations you've seen so we want to make sure that those access portals are under your control. Changing your password is a good first step to securing your data but we want to understand exactly what has happened here.

One more question... you said you had no idea that photos may be uploaded to the cloud, so how did you find out?
