Lightroom does not have a lens profile the Tamron 24-20, but ACR does. Shouldn't they both have it?

Please review here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html#Tamron and make sure you have to correct version of Lightroom installed and that you are viewing a raw file - not a JPEG, Tiff, PSD or PNG.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I'm using Adobe CC and it does not tell me there is an update available. My images from my SD card are copied into Lightroom therefore, they are in the CR2 ,i.e., Raw Files.

Go to Help>System Info... to get your exact version of Lightroom and then compare it to the link provided.

I saw that link, I thought you wanted me to check that I was using the latest ver of LRCC.  Yes, the link shows the Tamron 24-70 for canon.

From your original post, I was not able to tell what lens you were describing. "Lightroom does not have a lens profile the Tamron 24-20, but ACR does" I could not identify 24-20...

I sent you the link so you could verify the lens model against your exact installed Lightroom version and make certain you were on the correct version.  Now that we know it is actually a 24-70  you can see Bruce's link.
