I have Photoshop 7.0 and CS2 on my Windows 10 computer. Thru the internet I discovered that if Photoshop stated upon opening that it can't find the UI fon so it has to use a different font the problem is the ADMU13 fon is the problem.
Thru Control Panel / Fonts I found two fonts listed ADMUI3Lg Regular and ADMUI3Sm Regular. Checking the properties I was told the type of file is a font file (fon) and that it opens with Windows Viewer. When I tried to open it I was told by Font Viewer the following: "The requested file C:\Program Files (x86)\ADOBE\Adobe PhotoshopCS2\Required\Admu13.fon is not valid font file.
If it is not a valid font then why is it listed in the Font list and how do I make it a valid font?

Sounds like the file has been corrupted on disk.

Uninstalling and reinstalling should work, but Photoshop 7 and CS2 are pretty old...

Howdy Diane,

Also, please be aware that ADMU is a UI font that we ship.  It might not be compatible with your operating system -- it was meant to use within the application itself, but the version from 8 or 9 years ago (CS2).

As Chris said, you should probably just assume a corrupt installation and reinstall.

Hope that helps,
