LIGHTROOM - Adjustments for the Masking options are not working properly

I am attempting to adjust Dehaze amount for a Gradient Filter mask and when I click on Dehaze parameter I see the Amount slider as expected however this is adjusting Temp and not Dehaze. I have tried multiple times. Earlier today it was the same issue when I attempted to adjust Exposure. The amount slider changed something else. Why is this happening? I am clearly selecting the adjustment I wish to apply, but the slider controls something completely different. Thanks for any help/acknowledgment/solution!

Addition: Even if I then click "Custom" drop-down menu and select Dehaze it PERSISTS to change another parameter (in this case Temp). So at this point I can't edit my mask properly at all.

Addition 2: Apparently I have to completely zero all other previous masking adjustments when creating a new mask before I am able to adjust the parameter I am wishing to adjust. There seems to be some kind of bug that causes any newly created mask to ONLY use the previously ADJUSTED parameter, despite one clicking on a different parameter. I was able to edit my mask only after I zero out all other parameters in mask properties and then move the slider for the parameter I initially wished to change. This was not the case in previous version, that I recall.
