Photoshop: Adjustment layer results change when I flatten image

Sometimes when I have more than 1 adjustment layer & then flatten the image the image looks different. No layers are hidden when I flatten; it should stay the same. It usually happens when there is levels layer & a color balance layer. Also I seem to get different results if I have color balance & hue/saturation open together rather than doing color balance, flatten & then do hue/saturation & flatten.

If you view the images at 100% are they the same? Depending on the adjustments/effects, the appearance may look different between unflattened and flattened at views other than 100%. (100% "actual pixels" is the only completely accurate view - every other view is interpolated)

I'm having trouble reproducing the problem now, but I'll try that the next time it happens. Thanks.

If the image is changing at 100% when you flatten it, let me know, and provide a sample file (layered PSD) we can look at to troubleshoot. Thx.
