Lightroom Classic: Adjustment brush not working properly (Win 10)

In LR Classic, when I use the adjustment brush, it no longer works consistently. For example, if I run the brush across an area sometimes there will be gaps in the selection. This can happen even when moving fairly slowly.
Never had this problem before Classic.
Computer uses Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit, 32 GB of memory, solid state disks and Intel Xeon E3-1505M V5, along with a NVIDIA Quadro M2000M display adapter.
Should be more than enough horsepower.

Getting numerous bugs, is there a way to go back to previous version??

If you have a low spec pc with 4 cores I bet it will work better. Lightroom is not working well with high end cups. Also is it better after restart? I'm using i7 5690X 8 core and I can see significant improvement with the healing brush and adjustment brush when GPU acceleration is on. In previous version lightroom 6 I had to switch off the GPU acceleration but now it is much faster very smooth in fact I never seen it as smooth and flowing ever before. It is also fast on my 4 core i7 NVIDIA 980M laptop with the new lightroom classic cc. My main PC is 8 core NVIDIA GTX 980Ti my raw files are Phase one IQ280 80MP.

It is fast with smart previews on or off and auto sync to other 3 files on or off and auto mask on or off its all fast.

However I have noticed performance degradation after 10 minutes. So I still restart from time to time.

I hope this helps.

I wonder if there is anyone out there with the new i9 or AMD Threadripper 1950x that have lightroom classic cc on it I would love to know how it is?

Auto-mask is on and I have not recently updated the driver. I'll check both later today. Going out to take some photos, now :-)

I am also having a problem - it seems stuck on some previous setting so if I use it, it always applies a green glow and then goes (Not responding) before coming back and still being the green colour.
