Adjustment brush is not functioning correctly if Lens Corrections are turned on.

On the very latest version just downloaded on Lightroom CC, adjusting Lens Profile Corrections causes the local adjustment tools to go crazy. The spot healing brush placement will not be placed under the curser but in a different part of the photo. And the adjustment brush will not function properly. Painting with a very small brush with auto mask on our off causes the stroke to cover the entire screen. If I turn Lens Profile Correction off, all of the functionality returns to normal.

Here is the brush tool stroke with Profile Corrections turned off.

Here is the same brush stroke applied to the same image with Profile Corrections turned on.

I did not see this behavior on the last version of Lightroom. How do I go back to the former version?

What lens model are you using and with what Lens Profile settings? See this post with a similar issue using a fisheye lens: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom_3_and_4_adjustment_brush_incorrect_...

Todd, The lens is a Nikon 18-35 mm. After doing a little more investigation I find the problem is only when the Lens Profile Correction is on, and the Distortion adjustment is above 182-185 (it is not consistent). If I reset the the distortion control anywhere between 100 to approximately 180, I don't see the problem.  At least I now see a work-around.

There should be no need to use higher than the 100 default Distortion setting. There are two Nikon 18-35mm F3.5-4.5 lens profiles (D and G versions). Make sure you are using the correct profile for your lens model:

AF Nikkor 18.0-35.0 mm f/3.5-4.5 D ED
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED

If neither lens profile provides proper distortion correction at the 100 setting please post a screenshot and we can determine what's wrong.
