Photoshop: Additional options for 'Generate' and 'Extract Assets'

Ability to multi-select or select-all within Extract Assets, and make changes to multiple assets at once.

Ability to set the canvas size of an extracted asset (including SVGs).

Image interpretation quality options for resize.

Image diffusion and bit-rate options.

Alpha channel options, (bit-rate, diffusion, etc).

Add/edit metadata.

Auto-generating sprite sheets based on extracted assets.

We have a few of them in the works.

Why do you need Image diffusion & bit-rate options?

Also could you email me manian@adobe.com so we could set up a call to talk about how you use sprite sheets? I am investigating this area but I am not quite sure how we should do this.

(I am the Product Manager looking after Extract Assets in PS).

is it possible to tell photoshop generator to extract assets into a different location out side of that PSD file and it will do it by itself every time i open that psd file?

You can use a config option in Generator to do this called 'base-directory' https://github.com/adobe-photoshop/generator-assets/wiki/Configuration-Options
