Adding patterns to Photoshop: Make tileable texture on import

So you're now able to create "Patterns" with the Adobe Capture app and import them as tileable textures in your photoshop sessions.

This is amazing for making a stylish wallpaper inside a videogame or other 3D environment. Only problem is that the pattern is tileable during the import to Photoshop. Your 1024 x 2014 texture does not necessarily become a texture you can tile on materials in your 3D environment without some manual tedious tiling work.

So! What if there was a checkbox in the Pattern import settings that let you import one (or a set number of the) pattern segment(s). So the user can resize and edit the canvas to a square/rectangular texture quickly and skip that extra work?
