Adding a Checkbox to each image in Library View

In Library View, we always need to select multiple images for Panorama, HDR, HDR Panorama, Pasting settings and etc. In current scenario, we can select multiple image by holding Control or Shift and click mouse button. However, when we need to select many images and require to scroll up and down, it would be more convenience to use the checkbox.
The checkbox can be optional. users can opt to turn it on of off in the "Preference" Dialog.

I disagree. Just something else to get in the way and if left checked, 3-5-10 rows down, you would be looking for those Checked images for ever.
The current method of selecting images works just fine.
If you need to select multiple images in different folders or if you have All Photographs selected, showing all your images, you can use the Flag, Pick (keyboard shortcut p), option. Or even a color label or place them in a (Targeted, Quick) collection. Then Filter by Flagged, color labeled images or select the targeted collection and select all Ctrl + a.

You are asking for another method for something that is already extremely easy to do in LR Classic.

I can only agree that adding images to quick collection is a work around but not a solution.

I use flags or colors for groups like that.
