Lightroom: Add ability to run import actions on already imported photos

From time to time I run into a situation where I would like to take advantage of the import options on a group of photos that have already been imported and processed. I would love to be able to select a folder or collection and right click it and basically get the import dialog with all of its file system organization and renaming capabilities.

As an example of when this would be helpful, I was recently doing some much needed clean up of my personal photo collection. Most of the time, I organize my photos on the disk by date but I had some imports that for one reason or another hadn't been imported with the correct settings so they were not organized by date. My only options to get things consistent were to remove them from the catalog and reimport them which loses their place in collections/ratings/colors etc, or to manually organize them inside lightroom which is an extremely boring task.

Adding an "Organize on Disk" option that basically reuses the Import Dialog would make any organization that is based on embedded meta data much easier than it is now. This could potentially remove the need for the singular option of converting to DNG.
