Lightroom: Add ability to load multiple tracklogs at one time in Map Module

When I come home from a trip, I typically have one or more GPX files per day of my travels. These all came from the same GPS logging device so there is no overlap in date/time stamps on the trackpoint entries in the GPX file.

As it stands now, in order to load them into LR, I must select and load each one individually which adds them to the "Recent Tracklogs" list. This is a repetitive and time wasting process. I'd like to be able to Shift+click on multiple GPX files and have them all load at one time.

Thanks -- Dan

I like the Geosetter option where you can choose the option to take all GPX-Files in one directory (e.g. the picture directory). Selecting distinguishable colors of the different tracks could also provide benefit.

I assume you're saying you'd like to see that feature in LR? If, so I agree.

Yep, of course I'd like to have all of these features in LR so to support my workflow in one single tool.

Well, let's see,  6 years waiting for a simple thing like being able to show more than one tracklog on the map at the same time.  This can't be all that difficult to implement and will greatly improve the user experience.

Also, this is now more critical since the 3rd party program Geosetter can no longer show Google Maps (due to Google changing pricing).

For others coming here, i recently used this plugin to geo tag all my photos http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/gps

It allows multiple tracklog and, because my camera time had drifted, allows you to put an adjustment in for that. I used it to process 10 years of logs (month by month due to my time shift issue) which I never got around to aligning with my photos due to software issues. All fixed now. Very happy with it.

Would be good to have native support for it.
