LIGHTROOM - Add "time created" to Library filter Metadata dropdown options

When you have a large amount of images shot on one day at say a sports event or wedding, it would be helpful to have "Time created" as one of the Metadata filters, not just date.

Date is useful, but when the volume if shots is high, time allows speedier location images.

filtering by exact time would probably be a royal pain but perhaps a filter for the hour of the day might work?

thanks for considering it.

I agree that it would be good for filters and smart collections to be able to filter on time. As a workaround, you might consider these plugins:

Data Explorer: http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-good...

Any Filter: http://www.johnrellis.com/lightroom/a...

Both allow you to search by many more criteria than are built-in to LR. Data Explorer is for interactive exploration of your photos, similar to the Library Filter bar, while Any Filter lets you save custom search queries for later use, similar to smart collections.
