Lightroom: Add stacking view functionality to photo strip

I'd like to see a function added to Lightroom where the photo strip will show the top photo in each stack, and when you click on it, the grid and loupe views are limited to just the members of the stack.  My workflow uses auto stacking to separate different poses into stacks, and then I'll go in and select the best photos from each stack for further development.  Right now, that involves a lot of manual expanding and collapsing of stacks.

Related, it would be nice if the various single-photo views could indicate where in a stack you are.  In the use I outlined above, you can navigate right past the end of the stack.

Did you know that Shift-clicking the little number of a stack will expand it and select all the stack members? In combination with Compare view that seems to answer your request.
