Lightroom Mobile: Add pure "view" mode

This idea is growing inside of me from the very beginning and lately I think this should really happen.
In Mobile app, you have three modes, "Edit", "Info" and " Rate & Review". None of them is good for browsing photos, showing them to your friends or family. Edit mode takes a long time to load the photos, Info mode takes almost half of the screen a Rate @ Review is "random rating and flags generator" as people try to swipe between pictures.
This is why I suggest to add a View mode that would do just that and nothing else. It would load photos quickly as it does not neet original data for editing, it should work fullscreen and it should NOT contain any editing or rating tools because people often use them by accident.

As simple as that, please add the mode I could switch on, hand my phone to anybody and say "take a look" without worries.

Try using "Present from Here" which is built-in to the mobile app as shown in these screenshots [iPhone 5 running IOS 10].

This is not what I was asking for.

1) It is autoplay which you have to stop additionaly. Too much clicks.

2) You can't zoom.

I tend to simply use either the Keyword or Info views, then a single tap on the image puts the display into full-screen mode. From there I can move through the album in that full-screen mode as required. A single tap reverts back to the original display mode.
Or if you don't want to run a formal presentation mode, you can start with the "Present from Here" option, but don't tap the Play button. You can then move manually forward/backward through the album as required.

Thanks for the tip. I got used to skip Info tab because of lack of info in it but for this case it might be actually useful. Not perfect, but less painful.

Hey I tried all this tips and still far from being satisfied. Edit mode takes huge time to load photos. Info mode has small images and waste of unnecessary information (for showing others, not overall) and Rate mode is just as described above. This weekend I was showing like 100 pictures to my friend and while browsing those, he generated like 30 ratings or flags (making these filters totally useless while its full of mistakes). But I remembered from here there is presentation mode.
So I tap presentation mode and it started to play photos automatically. So I had to press pause additionally. First thing though my friend was trying was to some some of the photos to better see faces and..wait...zom is not possible.

So YES, make something like "pure view mode" for cases you are handing over your device to someone else. In this mode, only browsing, zooming and panning should be allowed.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Lock Lightroom for friends to view collections and not to edit.

Adobe, please create a lock and password feature on Lightroom Mobile so that friends or clients can look at the collections on our iPhones or iPads. This way, no one will accidentally change any settings or make any changes/edits.
