Just saw the video of the new import screen on the iPad pro:

Please consider adding at least a filter for RAW and JPG on top.

Usually you shoot Raw+Jpeg, so that you have a light jpeg file for quick edits in the field. Raw file processing isn't slow, but consider when you need to process a hundred photos and need to cut on transfer and processing times.

So, a top filter which will allow a selection of all jpeg files would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

That's a nice feature people have been requesting for long time. Glad to see it implemented since the SDK is available (iOS 13.2 if I'm correct). I'm also happy to see this Sneak Peek, even though a real roadmap would be even better ;-)

I totally agree with your request.

One mobile, you can filter by type, although it's not available (yet?) in the filter option by searching for "extension" in the thext field! Very handy to know! ;-)

But in the end, LR is capable of not treating jpegs as separate files, so it shouldn't be an issue ;-) This option is available in preferences>general in LR classic.
Wait and see when the option will be available.

Worst case: you can import everything, filter by type and remove the unwanted images.
