Lightroom: Add Archive Tier to Cloud Storage

Adobe uses Amazon AWS S3 and EC2 to implement the Creative Cloud system. Adobe was kind enough to implement the Delete tier feature recently which is much appreciated.

Similarly, I would appreciate it if Adobe would add an Archive storage tier. When customers set the archive property on an image or album, it is moved to the Archive storage tier. This would probably be implemented through AWS S3 Glacier. Media files added to the Archive tier would not count against the customer's quote, but the customer would not be able to do any edits requiring access to the original image; other features such as Portfolio would continue to work. If a customer needed to recover a project from Archive, they would pay a small penalty fee and the files would be moved back into their active storage quota.

This would save Adobe costs in customer service hours in helping customers who accidentally deleted files or reduce cases of synchronization issues between the cloud and Lightroom Classic. Additionally, customers would be more willing to move to a cloud-only workflow if they had an easy way to free up storage when they were done with a project.

I am not sure that it is a good idea or desirable, and on top of that Amazon and this policies of management to be vomited, us on the other side of Atlantic we do not want it, ricains, you are not alone in the world, we on other continents do not have possibilities out of necessity structural of network to use persistently Cloud services, and that to think of the usage of electricity to make work everything these navigators..... Then, ricains, reflect little, do not put your eggs anymore very in the same basket, keep your personal independence, otherwise you are going to resemble é China!
