Activation Repair code 24:24, after upgrading to Windows 10

I upgraded my Windows7 via the internet to 10. When I tried to use my CS6 but it has been deactivated because it detected my files were changed. The phone numbers have been shut down, and I get no answers from trying to solve the problem via on line. This happened to previously when I bought my new computer and when I disposed of the old I transferred my CS6 to the new. But, the activation numbers were still active back then. Now they've been discontinued.
Are there any new numbers for activation problems?

Just the usual Customer Support numbers listed on Adobe's website.

But all you should have to do is reinstall and enter your serial number.

Chris,

I tried loading it and once I entered the serial, it came back with the same dialog box. This is the combo with Image Ready and was allowed to install on 2 computers. The second one is still working as it hasn't changed since we went from XP to 7. Though with both prior, when changing from XP to 7, I had to use the numbers in the Activation dialog box and call in for a different number to reactivate. Of course, now the numbers are no good, so that's why I got on here. It seems that the numbers that are now available, are only available to premium or paying customers. I wondered if it may be better to upgrade. But, I can't seem to find a version that actually loads on to the computer without paying a thousand dollars or more. My daughter recently got one of the 'Cloud' programs but I would think that's web based, rather than being on my computer. I also have Illustrator that works with Photoshop and Image Ready. Is there a page I can actually go to that has a number for support without redirecting me to the on-line support page?

Hi Larry, that code doesn't look like a CS6 error code. I only see a registered copy of Acrobat 7 under your account for which that error would apply. See details here: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/p...

Yes, and I don't know why my CS6 is not included on my account except it may be that it's been so long that I've had it. It could be so long ago that I may have been using my old email address when I got it, and never changed over to my present for a user. How long has CS 6 been out. I think I got it, almost like 13 or 14 yrs. back.
I hate to remove Photoshop, Image Ready, and Illustrator then find out when I go to install again that it won't allow me to install because there are 2 instances already loaded on different operating systems. I even looked at regedit wondering if the dialog box can be eliminated to be able to use it again.
You would know. Is the new versions of Photoshop web based or hard drive installed still? And would they still be compatible with my Illustrator and Image ready? I guess I have to completely remove Photoshop and try reinstalling. I tried to see if it would make corrections when I inserted the disc, but I just got the same dialog box. Maybe when I get to the house, I can see if I can share the dialog box as an image using another program.

CS6 is 3 and half years old. It registers to your account when you sign into to activate it.

You must be using CS2, which the link above applies. (CS2 was the last version to include ImageReady)

Follow the instructions in the link I provided in the response above 9 hours ago to uninstall your current CS2, obtain a new serial # and download a new installer.
