When my computer resets my Photoshop Elements 13 deletes all of my actions and I have to reload them which takes a bit of time and is hard to keep my workflow going. I'm behind schedule now.

Same here, that happened first week I installed my purchased software then 3 months with no issue and bam, last night all gone again . So hours and hours loading hundreds of actions again. About to tell Adobe I want a refund! Ran pse 9 for almost 5 years with zero issue and 13 has these awesome glitches that so far there is no resolution

ugh I'm sitting here reloading actions. I'm thinking I won't purchase the software after the trial at this point.

What do you mean by "computer resets"?

When the battery dies or Windows update resets it. Just any reset.

Preferences, including actions, are saved when you exit the application. So if you leave the application running and the computer shuts down abruptly -- then any changes you made in that session will be lost.

Windows update should shut the applications down before it restarts the computer.

But if your computer is abruptly shutting down often - you need to make sure you save your files more often, including preferences and presets you added in Photoshop or Elements. And you need to get to the bottom of why it shuts down or restarts all the time.

Following Chris's suggestion, launch Elements, load your actions, quit Elements. Now relaunch it. Are your actions there? If yes, restart the system. Launch Elements. Are your actions still there after the computer restarts?
