PHOTOSHOP CS6? Action Help!

I have a set of actions that I love to use (PS6). Today, without warning, several of the actions within a set stopped working. I would receive errors such as "command shadow/highlight unavailable", "command make unavailable" and "current adjustment layer unavailable." I have tried resetting the preferences, unloading and reloading the actions and restarting the computer, all to no avail. Not sure what course of action to take next. Thanks! :)

Sounds like your actions assume something about the document or state (selection, layers, etc.) that is no longer valid.

Double check your document mode, bit depth, etc.

Thanks for your reply, Chris. I can handle edits with PS, but once we get into the more technical side of it, I'm lost. Would you mind elaborating for me please? :)

Oh, and it's only like 4 particular actions within one set. The rest work fine ... not sure if that information is relevant or not. ;)

For some strange reason the actions will work on other images, just not this one. How weird is that?

Again, check the color mode and bit depth of that image -- it probably is something (like 32 bit/channel, or duotone mode) that the commands in the action can't deal with.
