Camera Raw: Support for Palette input device

I recently got palette to help speed up my workflow with photos and i regularly use bridge and photoshop to edit them. I messaged palette to see if there is the opportunity to make palette compatible with ACR but they said ACR does not support plugins. Is it at all possible to make ACR support plugins? It would be really great if it is feasible. Thank you for your time.

"They said ACR does not support plugins"

ACR is a plugin itself. What 'palette' do you mean? There is a WordPress plugin called 'Color Palette', but obviously you can't run a Wordpress plugin in Photoshop or Bridge.

The palette i am referring to is a tool like a mixing board

Photoshop and most CS products  support it but you cannot set it up to use with ACR directly like you can with photoshop or lightroom

I see. But isn't support for ACR something the maker of Palette must do? I don't think that 'Photoshop supports it', I think it's the other way around: it supports Photoshop.

Or maybe you'd have to do it yourself? They state: "Use our pre-mapped controls or create your own for any app". Wouldn't that include ACR as well?

I emailed them first asking if it is possible, and the video provided a way to operate ACR with palette but by controlling windows vs controlling the program itself like it dos with light room or Photoshop
