Camera Raw 12.3: Not writing auto-assigned profile settings to XMP

When using the new automatic profiles in ACR, images that have a profile assigned (with adjustments, NOT as-shot) do not have crs profile adjustments written to XMP and crs:HasSettings is False. However, crop and rotation adjustments are written to crs.

If any adjustments are changed from the auto-applied profile, then all crs settings are populated.

Bridge shows these files as No settings in the Filter panel, and does not show the Camera RAW badge in the Content panel.

This is as-designed behavior.

Developers's comments:
"Until you actually make a change or open the image in Photoshop, the image is considered not to have settings, and just shows the default values."
