Camera Raw 12.3: Filmstrip selection is difficult to see

When selecting multiple images in the ACR 12.3 filmstrip, the selection indicator is impossible to see. Just a light outline around an image is totally worthless. PLEASE change this to something more visible- a badge or shading of the cell would be much better.

Also, when selecting multiple images, the badge overlay gets in the way and is too easy to click on accidentally. This results in unintended actions when all the users wants is to quickly select multiple images.

Taken together, this is terrible and user-unfriendly design.

Edit to add- the vertical filmstrip when NOT showing filenames and ratings. The tiles and thin white line when showing names is better although still not easy to see.

My workflow is to shoot multiple sets of product images then open them as a batch where I crop and rotate multiple images at once. I don't need to see the filenames or ratings, just need to be able to easily and reliably select specific images for adjustments.
