Sometimes, there are common layers and groups that need to have the same position, appearance and visibility in more than one layer comp.
If you have many layer comps that have these common elements, it is frustrating to update all the common elements' properties to the same properties.

It would be nice if users could link groups and layers to multiple layer comps.

Linking a group should link all the layers inside it too.

Each group / layer should have a list of links (that may be accessible by using the context menu).
Each link can contain multiple layer comps.
Each group/layer can contain multiple links.
For the same group/layer, a link cannot contain layer comps from other links.

If a layer / group is linked with one/multiple layer comps and the layer's/group's properties are changed, the properties are updated in the other linked layer comps as well once a layer comp within the link is updated.

Long story short, this would be a great way to update properties for groups/layers for multiple layer comps.

This feature would be very useful when working with many layers and layer comps and would eliminate the need to repeatedly update multiple layer comps.

I know that this feature will not be used by the majority of the photoshop users, but it will be very useful for interface designers for example.

I hope things are clear enough.
