Upgraded to 20 GB, but still can't upload videos? This is a very cumbersome site.

What happens when you try to upload video files?
How are you attempting to upload the files (From the Express Organizer, Photoshop Elements Sync, or Express Uploader)?
What type of video files are they (AVI, MOV, MPEG, etc)?

Using Express Uploader w MPEG video format. First it stayed on 0 % upload for a long long time. Then said upload failed. I purchased the 20GB storeage space and tried again, & again & again. Said file too big. Said photos & Videos limited to 200mb? Been working on this for over 4 hours!

Sometimes it says I don't have enough storeage space... which is rediculous. I have over 19GB of free space.

I have Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5, and Elements 7. It is hard to believe that photoshop.com is produced by the same company?

I have also tried AVI files?

If your uploads are failing, it is quite possible that your account is filling up with partial files (the problem being not that the files failed to upload at all, but failed to upload completely).

How large are these video files?
How many are you attempting to upload at a time?
Are performing any other network tasks at the same time (upload or download of any information)?

I have tried a number of different files ranging from 480,000kb to 1.1GB. One video I used to have posted, but removed it to make room. Then added the 18GBs and tried to upload it back again. It was the only thing uploading.

Rebooted for the 2nd time and tried a 23mb video and was able to upload. Reguardless, this is a very awkward website. I am a college graduate. I have worked with computers for decades, this is not very intuitive. Need to go back to the drawing board.

Is the video file < 2 GB? There is a 2GB limit for the uploader. Your account doesn't seem to have any invisible cruft in it, so there is not a problem with your available storage.

Are you getting any specific errors during upload? Specific wording may help us narrow down the problem.

The videos are all < 2 GB. Sometimes the error message says I do not have enough available space. Sometimes the downloader say upload in progress, but never gets past 0%. Eventually it says upload failed. Current upload has been 0% now for over 1/2 hr. I am going to bed, Hope when I awake tomorrow that this will all be just a bad dream, but it feels too real.

I just purchased 20GB last night so that I could upload a wedding photo video I created on my Mac in iPhoto Quicktime with .mov ending. A previous response from your company says you can upload to 20GB and I've only used 35.4 MB in my new account. Each time I try it says that my account is 608 MB oversized and asks me to delete, which I have done. My movie is 764 MB in size. I only bought the 20GB so that I could upload this large of movie. Are you now telling me that it's not possible?

hi Jan,

Are you trying to upload the video directly on the website?

If so there is a limit to the size (200MB) of video that you can upload using the website.

To upload videos larger than that you will have to use the standalone air application 'Express Uploader'. You can install it from here http://www.photoshop.com/tools#uploader

Thank you, Amreek. Using Express Uploader worked! Glad to know there's an option for uploading videos larger than 200 MB. Makes me like this website a lot more! :-)
