Photoshop: A modifier key for Duplicate Layer > New Document to make new doc the size of the duped layer

Duplicate Layer > New Document, this creates a new document at the size of the original document. As someone who creates a lot of assets for RIAs, it would be great if there was a key modifier (+Alt for example) to make the new document the same size as the layer instead, allowing me to Save for web straight off, rather than trimming it first.

Thanks!

Could make a nice JDI.
But in the mean time, I would record an action, where you hit CTRL+click the thumbnail of your layer to select transparency, then go to image>trim or image>crop.
You could then use SFW or any other function.

It's a small feature request that could be done on some dedicated days of coding... Just Do It! from: http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2009/06/...

If you do a lot of these from the same PSD this script might be useful to you.
