A folder can not be renamed, if a video is selected. It is evident already reserved by the player. Only when you put your mark on a photo, the folder will be renamed. This is a bug.

Might well be a design limitation.

A workaround is to go to Grid mode.

When renaming a Windows folder in Lightroom 4.1 I have found that I receive an error message that "The folder could not be renamed or moved" IF a video is selected within the folder. However, if I select a picture instead the folder can be renamed as normal.

This is a repeatable error on all my folders and as such I would consider it a bug.

Relevant debug details - Videos and pictures are from a Canon 5D Mark II directly imported into Lightroom with added metadata and location information (all using Lightroom). Platform is Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.
