I am trying to make a A1 size collage in lightroom but cannot get it page setup to make an A1 size print to base the collage on. It only has a very basic list of print sizes and there is no custom size option as far as I can see.

I am looking to build a collage where there is a main central image with various assorted smaller images around this in different cells.

I dont want to have to do this in photoshop as even using jpg's the file size will be huge

Will your printer do A1 size, or are you planning on saving it as a jpg?  If you're saving as a JPEG, go to the Print Job panel, set it to Print to JPEG, then check the Custom File Dimensions and enter the A1 page dimensions and resolution in there.  You'll get the right result.

Thank you soooo much,

I'm still a bit of a neanderthal and do about 90 - 96 % of all my work in photoshop and trying to learn Lightroom but having a problem getting into it  maybe just old age setting in lol

I was trying to use the Page Setup tab on the bottom left of lightroom which is where I would have thought to go but it only goes to A3 with no custom settings.

I'll get this collage finished yet as I couldn't find a programme that would set things the way I wanted so having to do it all by hand so to save on huge file sizes I was looking to build it in lightroom.

Once again many thanks Victoria.

You're very welcome.  Those Page Setup/Print Settings buttons are related to physical printers and their drivers, so they're a bit more limited.

I like to do collages for display on monitors/tablets/smartphone rather than to paper sizes. Hence would like to do this for output with aspect ratios of 1:1, 16:9, 16:10, etc.
I am looking to create photo collages similar to what apps like Fotor, Picmonkey and other collages app does.
Will very much welcome similar features without having to pay another usd10 per month to have the ability to do those type of collages.
