Having utilized the Facial Recognition feature I ran into a few issues that could easily be solved with the addition of a small amount of data for each person.

Here it is: allow us to add the earliest date a particular person could have appeared within our photographs. This will increase the chances of a correct guess by the system.

Use case: ALr improperly identified a lot of my son's early photos as his sister whom was not even born yet. If could have stated her "appearance" date (in this case her DOB) then I would have had a more accurate result.

Additionally, allow users to set an end date for when a person could have appeared in photos.

Use case: some friends and family are only in our life for short periods and need not be a part of the ongoing processing of the FR algorithm if they are sure not to be in the photos.

None of this will offer perfection but it can only help the existing system which seems to need the help.
