Lightroom Classic: A note field on the photo

A note field on the photo would be great so the reason, or the circumstance or the processing techniques can be recorded as part of the picture

I’m using the big note plugin from John Beardsworth for this

You can also use the User Comment field but you have to use Exif and IPTC to see it.  The advantage of the User Comment field over the Big Note plugin is it is saved with the XMP data if you export the file.

Indeed it depends if you want to keep the information private or not. I find it an advantage of the big note plugin that it keeps information private.

You can also use the Instructions field under 'Workflow'.
