Photoshop 2019: Issue with placing, editing and transforming Smart Objects

Just to note, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Also, these bugs are on windows.

1) Occasionally (every 10th or so time) when opening a smart AI object from the layers panel, if illustrator is open full screen, it then opens the smart object but sets illustrator to be a small window. See fig.1

fig.1

2) Occasionally when i'm using the marquee to cut or using the transform tool, once i hit enter, about 15px from the left and 13px from the top turn transparent.- see fig.2 This also happens on smart objects if i save it, then go back to the original document.
to fix this, all i need to do is move the layer (i normally just move it 1px up, then down. - see fig.3

fig.2

fig.3

Overall though, i actually quite like the changes to 2019, but it would have been nice for the transform tool to have some consistency for everything...

example.
shapes: transform DOESN'T keep aspect unless holding shift.
shapes in folder: transform DOES keep aspect without holding shift.

This i understand is that you are transforming the folder, which has the rule assigned too it, however i cant see a reason as to why a shape wouldn't have the same rules? my mum always told me i couldn't have a rule for my brother and a different rule for me... and my brother is a shape!

The 2nd issue has now become so constant that i have had to revert back to using the older photoshop.

Is there a way i can get this issue made more important or mentioned to the dev team? It only seems to happen in artboards, but its got to the point now where even if i try to edit some text, half of the items on the page will just disappear.
To make everything reappear again, i toggle the visibility eye on the layers panel for ANY ellement, and they all become visible again.

Please see example:

Its getting so bad now, that i cant work like it. Thanks for the cool new features, but the bugs are getting too much.

Would it be possible to get a copy of the file that consistently produces this issue? (link to dropbox or CC files, or I can have a QE email you directly to get it)

unfortunately not, as its 2gb and is designs for a client (which I'm sure you understand).

If it helps, its entirely random and if i close photo shop and start it again, its fine for a little bit then gradually, one by one, little bits start to disappear. Its never the same.

What i will do however is when i get a chance, give it a go on another machine and see how that works out. Sorry i cant be much more help!

OK. If you can create a file where it happens that you can share, let me know.

The one thing to try is Preferences > Performance... and check "Legacy Compositing" - Restart Photoshop. Let me know if you can reproduce the issue with that change.

OK, so... wishful thinking! The update worked for the first time i installed it, but then after restarting me computer, both at work and at home, it is now unfortunately doing it again

but yeah, it worked pleasantly all day yesterday, but after a restart and working this morning, its lasted about half an hour, but i now have the first sign of that bug.

It has only happened once though, so i'll keep using it and record how often it seems to happen.
