When will we have a brand new and efficient raw engine in LR ? Compared to Capture One and with a Fuji X raw, 2012 raw engine is far away from the other and the worst of all... 2016 raw processing engine ? Thanks for your answer...

Adobe don't announce their plans before release, so even if there are plans, no one could answer that.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled New Engine for Lightroom.

When Adobe will renew their engine for Lightroom And Raw Converter... many people which I know also people which are creating workshops are changing to capture one cause they are telling they have the much better raw engine and yes, it is true. If their is a way that they can recreate their presets on capture one, i am sure their are changing much more people to capture. So I highly recommend to renew the raw engine as well as optimize Lightroom. In my MacBook for example Lightroom always boost my coolers.... you should see this problems too. Too Optimize.
