In CS6 selecting File>File Info would bring you to the screen where you would input all your Meta Data. At the bottom of the dialogue box in the middle is a box you can select Import, Export or Show Templates folder which take you automatically to the .XMP files. Also in CS6, the very last .XMP template you used comes to the top of the list automatically which comes in handy when you need to apply the file info to many images.

This functionality was removed in CC and CC2014......WHY?!?!?

It took an advanced tech support person over 1 hr. to figure out why this information does not come up automatically in CC and CC2014 on my Mac. It had to do with how my lists were coming up in the finder.

......yet it still worked fine in CS6.

Adobe, please make this an automatic process again in CC 2014. Not everyone knows the path to .XMP files. If the application creates a specialized file type to work with CC, then the application should be able to automatically point to it.

Make the software smarter, not dumber!!!
