Can we please have an option in Preferences to disable Ctrl key from toggling Snap mode?
This can be intrusive and sometimes annoying, as currently holding Ctrl-Shift to drag duplicate an object or selection with Snapping *on* will disable Snapping, so you can't just duplicate drag to i.e. the Grid.
Elsewise, if Snapping is disabled, it *will* snap to the Grid when Ctrl-dragging.
So we're stuck with manually toggling Snap constantly while working, which isn't very nice and is counter-intuitive - it's also not obvious what the current snap state is as it's a 'silent' modifier, which can get all the more difficult to track when you're having to do the manual switcheroo a lot.
Promoting the Ctrl toggle as a user preference seems like the simplest and most practical way to fix this, without breaking things for people who actually like and require it as is.
