Lightroom: "next Photo" zoom or not

Lightroom 4: I have my row of pictures across the bottom. If I zoom in my current photo, then go to another photo, it has the same zoom window. I would like my new selections to start full frame out so I can see the whole thing. I don't see any setting for "next photo" setting size,

To answer your question: there is no such setting. But the 'z' key (or space bar) will get ya there PDQ.

Consider making a feature request ('Idea') if you'd like it to be different.

The reason it does this is so you can zoom into a series and flip back and forth to check for spots and other common flaws. It is completely by design, and unlikely to change.

Hotkeys are the way to do what you want.
